Magical Meerkat Moments

It was a truly special occasion for Clyde and Jennifer as they spent time amongst our lively little mob of meerkats.

Yesterday was their 59^th wedding anniversary!

Meerkats are their favourite animal, so the family arranged this special surprise for them.

It’s been a tough time for them all, with Clyde in palliative care, but they were able to find a break in the rain and bring him and Jennifer out to Billabong Sanctuary for their first-ever encounter with a real live meerkat.

The meerkats did not disappoint, clambering all over them and nibbling on their favourite treats. Clyde was surprised to find that they are so sociable.
